Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce executive director stepping down
Jon Kerr, executive director of the Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce in Acton, will step down from his position later this month, after four years of leading the organization, MWCOC announced on Wednesday.
Kerr plans to depart to the private sector, according to the announcement. He has 30 years of nonprofit administration and small business experience.
MWCOC will begin searching for Kerr’s replacement, with details about the position and application process to be announced later.
“We are grateful for his years of service and commitment to the job; he was innovative in finding ways to grow our membership and be more present in the community; we wish him continued success,” said board member Don Ludwig, in a statement.
