Middlesex Savings honored for new biz lending

The Massachusetts office of the U.S. Small Business Administration has awarded Natick-based Middlesex Savings Bank with its Lender of the Year to New Business Award.
Middlesex was among 17 financial institutions and individuals honored by SBA in its fiscal 2015 awards. Middlesex was the only bank from Central Massachusetts to receive an honor. Other categories included lending to women, veterans and restaurants.
Paula Camara, senior business advisor at Clark University, was recognized by SBA with a Massachusetts State Star Award, for her work in the regional office of the Small Business Development Center.
