Middlesex Savings Bank of Natick plans to open a new branch in Westborough in January after securing a location along Route 30.
The property, located at 65 East Main Street, is 3,000 square feet and owned by Vakili Real Estate Management LLC. The building dates to 1989 and previously housed Sunnyside Liquors and a donut business.
“The site was perfect for a bank branch because it already had a permitted drive-through window, excellent parking, great signage potential and is in a high-traffic area,” Cheryl Tully Stoll, sales associate and agency marketing director for Metrowest Commercial Real Estate of Southborough that handled the lease along with Senior Associate Broker Marlene Aron, said in a release.
The Natick-headquartered bank already operates over 30 branches around Massachusetts with a planned opening in the spring of a new branch in Maynard Crossing. The Westborough location will be its furthest west branch.
