Middlesex Savings Bank earmarks $1M for COVID-19 relief

Natick-based Middlesex Savings Bank will distribute $1 million to local nonprofit organizations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the company announced in a press release.
The funds will be dispersed through its foundation, the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation.
A $100,000 initial donation will be made to the MetroWest Emergency Relief Fund, with subsequent donations made over the coming months, according to the press release on Friday.
The foundation was established in 2000 and since then it has distributed more than $10 million in grants to local nonprofits.
