MetroWest Medical CEO Departs
Andrei Soran, CEO of MetroWest Medical Center, has begun a new job with Vanguard Health Systems, the for-profit hospital operator that owns MetroWest's hospitals in Framingham and Natick, the hospital said in a statement.
Soran, who started in in his new role Monday, served as MetroWest's CEO for seven years. Chuck Orlando, Vanguard's New England region COO, will serve as interim CEO while the company conducts a national search for a replacement.
"I am humbled by the trust Vanguard and the community has placed in me all those fruitful years," Soran said in the statement.
