The MetroWest Leadership Academy, the flagship program of Leadership MetroWest, this week launched a 30-day campaign to boost awareness of the opioid crisis, according to a statement issued Monday.
The campaign runs through the end of May, and uses social media as a primary platform, according to a statement. Each day, the Leadership Academy will post information on a variety of topics, including resources for treatment and recovery, family support and impacts on law enforcement and health professionals. All materials will be posted to the organization’s website at the end of the campaign.
The Leadership Academy is a program designed to develop community leadership. Each year, 30 people from a variety of sectors are selected to participate. The program is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
