Sudbury manufacturer Methods Machine Tools has appointed a new president and CEO to succeed Jerry Rex, who left the company earlier this month.
Mark Wright joins the company from Waltham-based IT firm NWN Corp. where he was senior vice president of sales operations.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Wright spent time as vice president of business development at software company Plexxi Inc. in Nashua, N.H. before it was acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Before that, he spent 13 years with Hopkinton manufacturer EMC, leaving in 2014 as senior vice president of business development and operations for Lenovo.
“I am confident we can continue to grow and move the business forward and deliver the high caliber products and services in our special way that makes Methods unique,” Wright said in a statement. “I will enable our people to fulfill their passion to make a difference.”
In its press release announcing Wright's appointment, the company did not disclose why Rex left the company as president and CEO.
