Bonnie Biocchi is president and CEO of the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce, based in Framingham. She is also the current chair of the board for the MetroWest Tourism and Visitors Bureau and serves on the board of the MetroWest/495 Partnership. She also serves as a member of the Natick Soldier Systems Science and Technology Board, as well as the Foundation Board for Massachusetts Bay Community College.
The Groton resident was appointed to the Patrick Administration's Economic Development Strategic Planning Council, tasked with creating an economic development strategy, and serves on the state's Small Business Roundtable, where she helps influence government policy and regulatory decisions that affect business. Biocchi is an active member of the Coalition for Community Colleges and focuses her efforts on bridging the "middle skills" gap for workers throughout the commonwealth.
Prior to her role at the MetroWest chamber, Biocchi served as regional director for the Massachusetts Office of Business Development.
Ron Hadorn has served as executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester since 2001. He is also the current president of the Massachusetts Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs and has been a national training associate for Boys & Girls Clubs of America since 1990.
A resident of Leominster, he has received several awards from within and outside his organization. He received the 2010 Greater Worcester Community Foundation Renaissance Award, two years after being honored as a Distinguished Level of the Academy of Boys & Girls Club Professionals award as an executive. He was also honored at the management level in 2001.
In addition, he has served on several civic groups, such as Youth Connect Worcester, the City of Worcester Advisory Committee on Youth; the UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center Regional Advisory Council; the board of directors for the Main South Community Development Corporation; the Investing in Girls Steering Committee and United Service Executives.
Meghan S. Liddy, a WBJ 40 Under Forty honoree in 2010, is a senior vice president, business banking officer for Fidelity Bank in Worcester. She has worked in commercial banking for the past 15 years in various roles including risk management, portfolio management and relationship management.
Prior to Fidelity, she worked for Middlesex Savings Bank as a regional commercial loan manager and held positions in commercial lending for Banknorth Group, Inc. (now TD Bank) and Eastern Bank.
Liddy holds an MBA from University of Massachusetts-Lowell and a bachelor of science degree in hotel, restaurant, travel administration from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
Christopher G. Mehne is a partner with the law firm of Bowditch & Dewey LLP in Worcester, where he specializes in trusts and estates law and serves on the firm’s management committee.
He is a graduate of Boston College and Boston College Law School, and is a frequent speaker in the areas of estate planning, probate and elder law.
A resident of Shrewsbury, he serves as town moderator and is involved in a number of nonprofit organizations, including Shrewsbury Youth & Family Services, the Shrewsbury Public Library Foundation and Goddard/Homestead, Inc. He’s a former recipient of the Greater Worcester Jaycees Outstanding Young Leader award.
