Charles River Bank in Medway has named Medway native and certified public accountant Steven Richardson the new chairman of its board of directors.
Richardson has been a member of the $289-million bank’s board of directors since 1992 and has served on the bank’s Security Committee, Asset/Liability Committee, and the Audit Committee, according to the press release, which is dated Sept. 1.
Richardson is a CPA who is the founder and managing shareholder of Richardson & Company, PC, and president of Richardson Financial Services, Inc., both in Medway. A Medway native, he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bentley University in Boston.
Prior to Richardson’s appointment, Pia Brunelli Jarrett held the role of chairwoman of the board from 2017 to 2021. Charles River Bank has $289 million in assets, according to the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp.
