Devens-based American Superconductor Corp. has promoted Daniel P. McGahn to president and chief operating officer.
McGahn will continue to report to AMSC founder and CEO Greg Yurek. He joined AMSC in December 2006 and mostly recently held the title of senior vice president and general manager of AMSC Superconductors.
Prior to joining AMSC, McGahn was executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Konark Technologies and general manager and chief operating officer of Hyperion Catalysis.
McGahn has a master’s and bachelor’s from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
