The Framingham/Worcester commuter rail line will run additional morning and evening trains Saturday for the Sail Boston tall ships event that's expected to draw thousands of visitors to the city.

Passengers will be able to buy an unlimited full-day pass for any commuter rail, subway or bus line for $35 for each of the five days of the event. The passes are available at ticket offices at North, South and Back Bay stations.

Sail Boston is scheduled for Saturday through Wednesday.

The MBTA said it will add additional trains to multiple commuter rail lines, including the Framingham/Worcester line, the system's busiest, but did not give specific departure times. On a typical Saturday, nine trains would leave starting at Worcester's Union Station heading into Boston.

All subway lines will operate at rush-hour levels of service during the five days of the event.

The Framingham/Worcester line connects to the Orange Line at Back Bay station and Red Line at South Station. Both of those subway lines will connect to viewing areas for the tall ships.
