Stratus Technologies of Maynard has hired Eric Dougherty as vice president of channel sales.
Dougherty previously worked as vice president of partners and alliances at Rapid7 of Boston, and before that he worked for other software companies, including Acronis Inc. of Woburn, Ecora Software Corp. of Texas, Softricity Inc. of Washington, which is now part of Microsoft, and Sweden-based Axis Communications.
He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and lives with his family in Westford.
Stratus produces products to prevent interruptions in computer systems.
