Prudential Prime Properties has joined the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network and is now operating as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices N.E. Prime Properties, the Maynard-based company announced.
The brokerage, which said it generated nearly $380 million in sales and closed 1,255 transactions in 2013 throughout New England, joins more than 1,000 real estate agencies nationwide operating under the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices moniker after Prudential struck a franchising deal with the conglomerate in 2011.
“This transition is the beginning of a new era for our company,” Broker/Owner Nancy Quinn said in a statement. “We think real estate consumers will look for our Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices signs in front of properties. Likewise, real estate pros will understand the marketing potential of our brand and will want to be a part of it.”
N.E. Prime Properties commemorated its brand transition earlier this week with ceremonies at The Barn at Gibbet Hill in Groton, which was attended by state and local officials and members of local chambers of commerce.
