Pepperell-based Masy BioServices, a biorepository company, is continuing its expansion on the eastern seaboard by opening an office in North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park.
The company will provide the many biopharma companies in that region with its validation services, Masy BioServices said in a Monday press release.
According to the Research Triangle Park’s website, the 7,000-acre site has been home to more than 250 companies including 70 startups or spinoffs and 132 U.S. headquarters. The park is anchored by three top research universities, including Duke University, University of North Carolina and North Carolina State University.
The office is the second Masy will occupy this year. In April, the company announced the acquisition of New Jersey-based Metrology Laboratories.
Masy BioServices also maintains an office in Hatfield, Pa.
