The Massachusetts Manufacturing Pulse Survey, designed to capture trends, challenges and perspectives within the manufacturing sector, is open and accepting entries through the end of August.

The Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership, which is a statewide nonprofit based in Auburn, in this annual survey includes questions about company growth, market share, cybersecurity in the workforce, supply chain, and other manufacturing employment statistics. Take the survey here.

The survey engages the temperature of manufacturing in Massachusetts, allowing MassMEP to provide information to legislators about desired new policies or assess the need for capital equipment or workforce training grants, Kristy Grignon, senior director of business development, said in a video on the company’s LinkedIn.

“Every single manufacturer in Massachusetts should complete this survey. We want to hear from everyone: small, medium, large, and every facet of the organization. The voice of the manufacturing survey is for all industries. Whether you're a small machine shop, whether you're a mom and pop ice cream maker or whether you're a start up, your voice matters in Massachusetts,” Grignon said in the video.

The survey takes between five to seven minutes to complete and can be found on the MassMEP website and its other social platforms.

MassMEP, established as a nonprofit in 1996, offers resources and expertise for small and mid size manufacturers across the state to grow. The manufacturing advisor company serves as a workforce training grant resource and is supported by the National Institute of Standards and Technology based in Maryland.
