The Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership, known as MassMEP, has named Kimberley Ingalls, who currently serves on the advisory council for the Massachusetts Emergency Response Team, as its new center director.
In this capacity, Ingalls will be tasked with leading and developing a team of professional consultants who work on what MassMEP described as transforming manufacturing enterprises through operational excellence and innovative growth initiatives. She will work closely with MassMEP’s president and board of directors
Ingalls replaces Kathie Mahoney, who served in the role for 21 years before leaving for a similar position in Rhode Island.
Ingalls has extensive grant management and strategic business development experience. She has worked with MassMEP for over a decade, directing economic impact surveys for Massachusetts manufacturing clients, according to MassMEP.
"We are very excited to have Kim take on the role of center director for MassMEP. She brings to the job an exceptional combination of energy, leadership, and understanding of the challenges of manufacturing in Massachusetts,” said John Killam, president of MassMEP. “Her operational skill will help us continue to expand MassMEP and the work it does to strengthen Massachusetts manufacturers."
