The Massachusetts Alliance for Economic Development, or MassEcon, announced its board of directors for the new year.
Robert Brustlin, president and CEO of engineering firm Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, which has an office in Worcester, has been elected chairman. Susan Fenton of National Grid was named vice chair, Jack Burns with CresaPartners was named treasurer, and David Tibbetts of the Merrimack Valley Economic Development Council was named clerk.
New members of the board include Brian Cohen of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners and David Hayes of BSC Group.
Re-elected directors include Carol Adey of CoreNet Global, Robert Reilly of Fidelity Investments, and Jerry Sargent of Citizens Bank.
MassEcon is a non-profit that markets the state for economic development by providing information services such as available sites in the state and business consultation.
