In an effort to streamline support for the state's coronavirus response, the Gov. Charlie Baker Administration announced on Sunday a new online portal where companies and individuals can either sell or donate personal protective equipment, the governor announced in a press release.

On the portal, companies will be able to offer or post for sale a variety of PPE used to help protect healthcare providers and other first responders, including respirators, surgical/procedure masks, goggles, sanitizing wipes and sanitizer. Many of the supplies requested are in short supply because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Beyond helping to connect frontline responders with PPE, the portal functions as a medical and health volunteer signup form for those interested in getting involved directly.

“We also need more volunteers to help support our response to this unprecedented public health emergency, and urge people to sign up to lend a hand," Gov. Baker said in a press release.

Potential volunteers, as well as those looking to donate or sell PPE to the state should visit the online portal.
