The Innovation Institute at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative and San Francisco software company Lever have opened the third round of their Intrapreneur Challenge, which will focus on the theme COVID-19 health and safety, according to a Tuesday announcement.
Applications for the third round opened on Monday and will close on Sept. 18.
The challenge, like the two before it, will allow established Massachusetts manufacturers to participate in a five-week accelerator program prioritizing manufacturing initiatives to support the health and safety of businesses, communities and people.
The types of innovations sought for this challenge include products and ideas like UV disinfecting technology, smart fabrics, touchless door openers or social distancing monitors.
Participants must be based in Massachusetts, have been in business for at least two years and have annual revenues greater than $250,000, as well as develop innovations to preserve or create Massachusetts jobs. Those interested in applying should visit the Intrapreneur Challenge website.
