Massachusetts gas prices fell seven cents per gallon this week, after falling three cents the previous week, according to AAA Southern New England.
Gas prices now average $3.55 for a gallon of self-serve, regular unleaded. That’s six cents higher than the national average of $3.49. A year ago, the state average was $2.59.
