The Massachusetts Bar Association has named State Rep. Harold P. Naughton Jr. of Clinton as its Legislator of the Year.
The MBA will honor Naughton at its Access to Justice Awards Luncheon on May 7 in Boston.
The group said Naughton has sought funding for higher compensation for bar advocates, district attorneys and others in the legal system, as well as for courthouse construction.
