Worcester fitness enthusiasts will soon have a new place to pump iron, as a gym is set to open on Lincoln Street.
Uncaged Fitness is a 18,871-square-foot facility at 640 Lincoln St. set to be operated by married couple and bodybuilder enthusiasts Cody and Brielle Savoy. Cody is an infantryman in the Army National Guard, while Brielle is a firefighter at the Worcester Fire Department, according to their LinkedIn profiles.
In addition to hundreds of pieces of fitness equipment, other planned amenities include a smoothie bar, massage therapy, a cold plunge, and a sauna. Personal and group fitness training programs will be available for members.
Uncaged joins Mission Worcester Cannabis Dispensary and Greenwood Industries roofing contractor as tenants in the building, which is now 100% occupied, according to a press release issued from Worcester-based real estate firm Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates.
An exact opening date for Uncaged has yet to be announced.
Drew Higgins and Thomas Bodden of Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates completed the transaction on behalf of the landlord.
The property at 640 Lincoln St. is a 140,457-square-foot flex industrial building owned by Steven Goodman, the CEO of Boston-based GFI Partners, which owns a number of Central Massachusetts properties.
