Automatic Data Processing Inc., a New Jersey-based human resources and benefits administration firm, has completed the acquisition of Workscape Inc. of Marlborough.
Workscape is an employee benefits management firm and has about 400 employees.
ADP said it and Workscape are “extremely complementary,” and that the companies already have mutual clients.
The acquisition allows Workscape to play a larger role in the employee benefits services market, the company said. Workscape is privately held and was founded in 1999.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
