Marlborough IT services firm Versatile Communications has acquired a New Hampshire company that specialized in Microsoft’s SharePoint platform, which assists team-based collaboration among businesses.
In a statement Monday, Versatile said it has acquired Kiiro Software, based in Amherst, N.H. Kiiro also focuses on business intelligence applications and application development services that Versatile believes will help its clients transition some or all of their information technology assets to cloud-based environments.
Kiiro’s founder and CEO, Jeff Forsyth, becomes Versatile's vice president and general manager of its application services division.
“We recognized our clients' need to deliver on business outcomes,” Versatile President David Cote said in the statement. “Our new application services practice will help our clients improve their productivity and collaboration through software solutions, provide them access to a vast network of development resources, and leverage their data to help them make faster, better-informed business decisions.”
Forsyth added: “Everything is about software. By complementing Versatile's services and hardware portfolio with Kiiro's application services, we are enhancing our ability to provide solutions that enable our clients to gain a competitive advantage."
