The 202-room Courtyard by Marriott Boston Marlborough has been sold for $15.3 million.
The deal for the property at 75 Felton St. in Marlborough closed on Monday, according to the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds.
The buyer is two corporate entities MB VII and MB VII Property Owner LLC of Marlborough, both registered to Gregory Weingart, chair, business counseling, financial transactions, and mergers and acquisitions at Chicago law firm Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC.
Weingart and Marriott Bonvoy didn’t return requests for additional information.
The hotel had been owned by Marlborough WCP Hotel, L.L.C. an affiliate of Waterton, a Chicago real estate investment company specializing in residential and hospitality properties.
The property is assessed by the City of Marlborough for $11 million.
The hotel is ranked eighth on WBJ’s list of largest hotels in Central Massachusetts and is the third largest hotel in Marlborough, after the 307-room Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel & Trade Center and the 230-room Embassy Suites Marlborough.
The Courtyard by Marriott Boston Marlborough opened in 1986 and includes 8,000 square feet of meeting space.
