Marlborough will host an event focusing on green energy practices for cities and towns during an event on April 15.
The full day of programming includes more than 50 speakers, 30 exhibitors and 15 workshops. The event is titled “Massachusetts Sustainable Communities.” Massachusetts director of the Department of Energy Resources, Mark Sylvia, is expected to speak at the conference.
The event is sponsored by the Green Workforce Training Associates, which was started by Jen Boudrie, founder of Green Marlborough, the organization that helped the community achieve the green community designation from the state last year.
The event is slated from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Marlborough Holiday Inn. Tickets are $75.
