Marlborough-based network security company Corero Network Security has released its newest network defense tool capable of defending against physical or virtual network threats.
The product — SmartWall Network Threat Defense – Virtual Edition — is a natural extension of the Corero family of automated DDoS protection solutions, and enables seamless deployment of high-performing, scalable, cost-effective protection on site or in cloud-based solutions, the company said in a press release Wednesday.
The new defense product is now available for KVM and vSphere platforms and enables the flexibility to choose physical or virtual form-factors when deploying DDoS protection, the company said.
