ExaGrid, a Marlborough disk-based backup hardware company, announced Thursday a strategic partnership with German service provider and distributor TIM AG.
TIM AG provides system vendors in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland with levels of support, according to the release.
ExaGrid developed the tiered-backup storage, which features a front-end disk-cache landing zone and writes data directly to disk.
The partnership will allow ExaGrid to access new markets, build strategic alliances, and create a sustainable business plan, according to the announcement.
“As a channel development partner and service provider, TIM offers a long-time experience in data center solutions and partner enablement,” said Werner Van Unen, ExaGrid’s area vice president of sales in EMEA, in a written statement.
