Marlborough self-storage facility sells for $1.6M

Kane Self Storage sold its location on Boston Post Road in Marlborough.

A 30-year-old self-storage business, Kane Self Storage, Inc., sold its one-acre property in Marlborough to a Boston-based moving company for $1.57 million, according to the Middlesex South District Registry of Deeds.
The property at 850 Boston Post Road was bought by Suciu LLC, which is registered to Alexe Suciu, the owner of Exela Movers in Boston.
Kane Self Storage, which was founded in 1992, still operates out of 55 Maple St. in Marlborough, per its website. The company sold another storage facility in fall of 2019 for $7 million.
The Boston Post Road property includes 136 storage units in an 18,800-square-foot facility. It is assessed at $1.43 million.
