A 24-acre parcel of land at 149 Hayes Memorial Drive on the Marlborough-Northborough border sold to Toronto realty company Oxford Properties Group for $2.1 million, according to the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds.
In a deal closing Aug. 24, the property was sold by Arthur and Gloria Gutierrez, registered to the address of the Burlington-based Gutierrez Co., as trustees of the Marlborough/Northborough Land Realty Trust.
The land is assessed by the City of Marlborough at nearly $1.7 million.
The Gutierrez Co. owns and has also developed several of the surrounding properties, including a 167,438-square-foot industrial warehouse, which houses Massachusetts Container Corp., at 150 Hayes Memorial Drive
Oxford Properties, which purchased the parcel at 149 Hayes Memorial Drive, has nearly $70 billion in assets, with a $2.1-billion property sale to Google, per its website.
Officials from Gutierrez and Oxford did not return calls for comment on Friday.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this story incorrectly said 150 Hayes Memorial Drive and its 167,438-square-foot warehouse was included in this Aug. 24 sale for $2.1 million.
