Marlborough Hospital has reached a tentative agreement on a new contract with a 200-member union.
The hospital said Tuesday it has reached agreement for a three-year contract with the State Healthcare and Research Employees, or SHARE, union. The agreement, the hospital said, includes salary increases, the restoration of daily overtime, holiday and vacation scheduling, creation of a labor management committee and other important issues impacting both the union and Marlborough Hospital.
The union will vote in August to ratify the agreement.
Marlborough Hospital, part of the UMass Memorial Health Care system, is the latest in the company to reach a new agreement. In the last month, UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester reached agreements with nearly 2,400 union nurses at its Memorial and University campuses in Worcester, and with the United Food and Commercial Workers union.
The SHARE union, which is based in Worcester, says it recently expanded to include workers at Marlborough Hospital, and for years has represented 3,200 employees at UMass Memorial and UMass Medical School.
