Synergy Home Health Care Inc., which has a location in Marlborough, has been acquired by Kindred Healthcare Inc.
Kindred did not disclose terms of the deal, but said that Synergy’s two locations in Marlborough and Weymouth generate annualized revenues of about $5 million.
The Synergy locations will now be operated under the brand PeopleFirst Home Care and Hospice.
Kindred has operations in 46 states, running nursing homes, hospitals and other facilities, and has annual revenues of $6 billion and 76,000 employees.
