Marlborough-based Wind River Environmental services is continuing its expansion with the acquisition of Seminole Septic in Florida.
Located in Seminole, Florida, the company specializes in the pumping and disposal of septic tanks and grease traps, and provides emergency service regarding sanitary sewer overflow, according to a release from Dallas company Generational Equity, which brokered the sale. The company was purchased for an undisclosed amount on Dec. 7.
Wind River Environmental owns and operates 16 treatment facilities processing more than 185 million gallons per year, and it services more than 100,000 business and residential customers annually. According to Generational Equity, Wind River has acquired 90 companies since its inception and has more state-certified systems inspectors than any company in the industry.
