Marlborough-based Concentric Energy Advisors named Executive Vice President Danielle Powers as its next CEO, and Executive Vice President Daniel Dane will take on the role of president and vice-chair, effective January 1.
John Reed currently serves as the company’s Chairman and CEO, and will continue serving in the role of board chairman, according to a Wednesday press release from Concentric.
"The Board of Directors were thoughtful and deliberate in their consideration of these appointments and unanimously and enthusiastically endorse these leadership changes," Reed said in the press release. "Dan and Danielle represent vibrant new leadership steeped in Concentric's traditions and values. This leadership progression allows Concentric to expand, grow, and deepen the exceptional talent and services we offer the energy industry as it navigates new circumstances, energy demands, and customer preferences."
Powers has been an executive with Concentric for more than 18 years. As CEO, she will be responsible for Concentric's corporate growth strategy and internal operations and will continue to serve clients as an expert in resource planning and the wholesale electricity market, according to the press release.
"I look forward to continuing to collaborate with our exceptional clients and employees to ensure Concentric remains the premiere North American energy industry advisory firm,” Dane, who has been with the company for nearly 20 years, said in the press release.
Concentric specializes in management consulting and financial advisory services with an exclusive focus on the North American energy industry, according to its website.
