The New England Innovation Academy, a private school focused on entrepreneurship, will hold its first summer programs for grades 2 through 12 at its Marlborough campus this summer.
The program will be led by NEIA and Babson College faculty with guest speakers from MIT, Stanford University, Drexel University, and other entrepreneurs that the program has not announced yet.
The private school opened in 2021 with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. NEIA’s head of innovation and trustee Matthew Kressy founded MIT’s Integrated Design and Management master’s degree program. Tuition runs more than $40,000 a year for commuter students and more than $61,000 for boarding students, according to its website.
The summer programs include a three-week boarding session for high school students dedicated to entrepreneurship with Babson professors; another program dedicated to having students create their own project; one for computer programming and game design; and a program in partnership with the Wahaha International School, which is located in Hangzhou, China.
Registration for the programs opens on March 1 and more information can be found at NEIAcademy.org/summer.
