A Georgia-based building automation and energy efficiency company has acquired one of its former independent contractors, Yankee Technology Inc., which has offices in Marlborough and Ludlow.
Automated Logic Corp. is based in Kennesaw, Ga. and is a unit of United Technology Corp., a publicly-traded company. Yankee’s management team will remain in place, the company said. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Yankee designs, installs and services building control systems for colleges, commercial and government offices and health care facilities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. It has been an Automated Logic dealer since 1991.
