Marlborough dermatologist Louis Kuchnir has been elected president of the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology.
Kuchnir founded Kuchnir Dermatology in 2001. He is also an instructor in dermatology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester.
He has a bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a doctorate in physical chemistry from Harvard University. He completed his residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester.
He lives with his wife and three children in Southborough.
The Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology is the professional society for more than 300 practicing dermatologists in the state.
