Nasuni, a Boston-based file data services provider with an office in Marlborough, has acquired Storage Made Easy, a United Kingdom file data management company focused on remote work and compliance solutions for cloud file storage.
The acquisition expands Nasuni’s services as well as giving the company an additional presence in the U.K. Financial terms of the deal were not released.
“By adding remote work and compliance capabilities to the Nasuni platform through the acquisition of SME, we are giving organizations even more reasons to modernize their file data infrastructures, all while reducing capital and operational costs. This adds further capabilities to our ‘work from anywhere’ strategy, accelerating our file data services leadership.” Paul Flanagan, CEO of Nasuni, said in a Tuesday press release.
The deal comes less than two months after the company purchased DBM Cloud Systems of California. Earlier this spring the company received a $60-million equity investment from Sixth Street Growth of New York, designed to fuel an expansion.
