Marlborough direct-response media agency Mercury Media has hired Ronald C. Pruett Jr. as CEO.
Pruett moved to Mercury from Polymedica/Liberty Medical, a publicly traded diabetic supply company that uses multi-channel direct-response marketing, where he served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Previously, he was CEO of Acadient, an online education company, and founding executive of Insurance.com.
In his new position, Pruett is expected to develop specialty practices within Mercury, focused on digital, broadcast and mobile platforms as well as multicultural marketing.
