The Marlborough Chamber of Commerce has entered into a strategic partnership with the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
The new partnership aims to support inclusivity and expand opportunities for LGBT-owned businesses as part of both chambers’ missions to drive economic development, according to a release from the Marlborough chamber. Marlborough chamber CEO Robert Schlacter said in that release supporting inclusivity is critical to driving economic development.
The Massachusetts LGBT Chamber launched in 2018 and is a nonprofit with the goal of cultivating inclusive relationships to drive economic impact. The organization is currently working to expand the opportunities for LGBTQ business owners, according to Grace Moreno, executive director for MALGBTCC.
The release did not specify the details of the partnership.
