Marlborough-based data protection platform firm Sepaton Inc. has hired Greg Mancusi-Ungaro as vice president of marketing.
Mancusi-Ungaro will lead Sepaton’s global marketing, including strategy development, messaging and positioning, lead generation, public relations, partner programs and product marketing.
He will report to Mike Thompson, executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing.
Over the past 20 years, Mancusi-Ungaro has held senior marketing positions in technology companies, including open source start-up Ximian, which was acquired by Novell.
Mancusi-Ungaro also held senior marketing leadership positions at Lotus/IBM, Webhire, Deltek Systems, and Health Allianze.
Mancusi-Ungaro has a bachelor’s degree in physics from Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y.
