A new Market Basket location will open at Maynard Crossing on Friday, the grocery store chain announced on social media on Sunday.
The grocery store will be an anchor tenant at the mixed-used development, which is and will be home to restaurants, banks, a gym, as well as The Vue at Maynard Crossing, a 180-unit apartment complex developed by LeCesse Development of Florida, and Camellia Gardens, the 143-unit senior independent living community developed by Hawthorn Retirement Group of Washington.
“We made a list and checked it twice. Your newest Market Basket is coming to town this Friday, December 4th!” Market Basket wrote on Facebook.
On Thursday, the store promoted its full-service butcher block with ready-to-cook entrees, which is slated to open on Friday with the rest of the store.
Market Basket will join other tenants including 110 Grill, Middlesex Savings Bank, Evviva Trattoria, Planet Fitness, Eco Nails & Spa and Creative Gardens Early Education Center, among others. Maynard Crossing is a former Digital Equipment Corp. office site. In July, the development announced Emerson Urgent Care, part of Concord’s Emerson Hospital network, signed on for a 5,000 square feet facility next to the plaza’s entrance.
