Konover Development Corp. in Farmington promoted Jim Ainsworth to president and CEO and Stanley C. Glantz to COO. Ainsworth was previously executive vice president and CFO and Glantz was formerly executive vice president at the company.

U.S. Energy Systems Inc. in Avon elected the following to its board of directors: Bernard J. Zahren, Joseph P. Reynolds, and Richard J. Augustine. Zahren, chairman of the audit committee, is CEO at Zahren Financial Co. Reynolds is currently CEO at USEY and UK Energy Systems Ltd., and Augustine is vice president, chief accounting officer and secretary of USEY and CEO of U.S. Energy Biogas Corp.

Robert L. Rispoli was named member at Clayman, Tapper & Baram in Bloomfield. Rispoli was most recently senior associate at the firm.

Blum Shapiro in West Hartford hired Jane M. Prisloe as director. Prisloe was formerly with PricewaterhouseCoopers as managing director of assurance.

Richard C. DiChiara joined Rockville Bank in Vernon as senior vice president of retail banking. DiChiara was previously senior vice president of business banking at Bank of America.

Bancnorth Investment Group Inc. in New Britain promoted Charles B. Carroll Jr. to vice president. Carroll was assistant vice president and regional sales manager before his promotion at the bank.

Frank P. Longobardi, managing partner of Haggett Longobardi, a division of J.H. Cohn and board member at the Arthritis Foundation, Northern & Southern New England chapter, was named chairman of the board of directors at the foundation.

David M. Mack, health care partner at Robinson & Cole in Hartford, was admitted to practice in Massachusetts.

The University of Connecticut Foundation Inc. in Storrs named Karen Santasiere director of annual giving. Santasiere was most recently director of development at Hartford Hospital.

Fox 61 WTIC-TV in Hartford hired Maureen Fitzgerald as executive producer of the Fox 61 Morning Show. Fitzgerald was formerly marketing communications specialist at Blum Shapiro.

Karen Senich was appointed executive director at the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism. Senich was most recently acting director at the commission.
