Manufacturing expo in W. Springfield through Thursday

About 80 Massachusetts companies, including several based in Worcester County, have exhibits at a manufacturing showcase happening today through Thursday in West Springfield.
The showcase, called EASTEC, features 500 exhibitors, conference sessions, industry keynotes, and networking opportunities, according to its website. It is being held at the Eastern States Exposition. Speakers will cover a wide range of topics, including metal flattening, automation, shop floor best practices, and the internet of things, to name a few.
Phillips Precision Inc. of Boylston, Sturbridge Metallurgical Services, Emuge Corp. of West Boylston, and other companies based in Central Massachusetts will be there, according to EASTEC’s website.
