The Assabet Valley Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Women’s Business Council, is bringing the State Office of Minority & Women Business Assistance to MetroWest on Oct. 14.
The luncheon event will be held from 11:45 to 1 p.m. at the Avidia Bank board room at 42 Main St. in Hudson.
The gathering will offer an opportunity for locally based minority- or women-owned businesses the chance to learn more about SOMWBA.
Registering as a woman- or minority-owned business can enable a business to take advantage of certain state or federal contracting opportunities.
The cost for the lunch is $15 for members and their guests, and $20 for non-members. Reservations are requied.
