Lumber distributor Hood Industries Inc. has signed a 10-year lease for a 74,240-square-foot space in Ayer, according to The Stubbine Co., which brokered the transaction.
The site, at 91 Fitchburg Road, was previously occupied by PolyOne, a plastics industry company.
The building is located on nine acres of industrial land, with rail service and access to Route 2 and Interstate 495.
