Gardner-based Precision Optics said its net loss widened during the fourth quarter to $763,183 from $636,392 for the same three-month period in 2005.
Revenues dipped 9 percent during the quarter to $470,811.
The company also said that it expects fluctuations in quarter-to-quarter revenue to continue, “due to the uncertain timing of orders from customers and their size in relation to total revenues,” according to a press release.
However, Precision Optics is banking on “the recent introduction of several new products, along with new and ongoing customer relationships,” to boost revenues and help the company reach profitability.
