RLS Logistics of New Jersey unveiled its new cold-storage facility in Sturbridge, through an affiliate RLS Complete at an open house event on Thursday.
The 83,000-square-foot refrigerated warehouse has 18,000 pallet positions and a refrigeration system consuming less power than traditional ammonia-based systems, according to a Friday press release by Ti Cold, a developer and construction firm with offices in Florida and Indiana specializing in the design and building of cold-storage facilities.
"I am proud of our team for bringing this project to the finish line and celebrating the grand reveal with everyone at the open house. We look forward to a bright future in the Sturbridge community and the surrounding New England Region,” Bryan Hedge, president of RLS Complete, said in the Friday press release.
RLS Logistics is a national third-party logistics company specializing in cold supply chain solutions. RLS Complete is the company’s New England affiliate.
