Littleton Manufacturer To Supply Florida University Project
Eggrock Inc., a Littleton-based manufacturer of prefabricated bathrooms, has signed a contract to supply Balfour Beatty Construction with 700 bathrooms for Florida Atlantic University.
The contract is the first for the company in the student housing market. Until now, it has supplied bathrooms for the hospitality and health care markets, primarily.
Contractor Balfour Beatty began work on the site of Florida Atlantic's Innovation Village in January. It expects to have installed all 700 Eggrock bathrooms on site by the end of the summer.
For the project, Eggrock will work with its new exclusive distributor and installer, KHS&S Contractors.
Privately-held Eggrock manufactures and ships self-contained, prefabricated bathrooms from a facility in Littleton. The bathrooms can be placed in buildings under construction rather than built on-site.
