A principal with Fiba Technologies of Littleton has paid $2 million for a post office site on the northern edge of downtown Clinton.
The buyer is a limited liability corporation registered to John Finn, a director at the manufacturer Fiba Technologies. It was bought from a firm registered to James Tomolo Jr. of Clinton, who runs an accounting firm in the town. The deal closed Aug. 31.
Finn didn’t return a message seeking comment.
The one-acre site at 300 High St. includes the Raymond J. Salmon Post Office in a single-story building totaling 15,000 square feet. The property last sold in 2001 for $250,000, a year before the building was constructed. It was last assessed by the Town of Clinton at $1.2 million.
